A Malaysian fit-out contractor built around one kind of client: the hotel owner who needs rooms finished to brand standard, on programme, often while the hotel stays open.
Our first job, in 1992, was for Shangri-La.
The best proof of our work is who keeps calling: 14 projects for Shangri-La hotels, from Street One at Shangri-La Penang to Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur; 7 Marriott packages across Putrajaya and Petaling Jaya; and four packages for the owner of Fifth Avenue Hotel.
We design in-house, build the bones as well as the finishes, and source joinery direct through our sister company in Foshan.

Teh Ming Eng
Managing Director
A director since 2008, Ming has led Ivana Décor onto hotel sites from Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya to Penang, Langkawi and Melaka. Shangri-La and Marriott hotels have returned to Ivana again and again under his watch. A commercial mind with a site man's instincts, he carries every major contract from first price to final handover.
Chong Hai Beng
Executive Director
The designer in the builder's seat. Hai Beng came up through interior design practice and has spent more than twenty years at Ivana. He designed Fifth Avenue Hotel, Penang, and on every project he owns the technical side: drawing review, shop drawing approval and site walkthroughs, so the finished room matches the design. A director since 2009.

Better rooms, lighter footprint
E0-grade boards or better as standard, for healthier guestrooms from the day they open. Most of our work renews and converts existing hotels, with far less embodied carbon than building new.
